Chapter 4 of “At the Violet Hour” is up! This time with bonus Garrus! :D
Hey guys, remember that fic I kept gushing about, For Such Loss, Abundant Recompense? Well that’s completed, and now there’s A COMPANION piece to it, At the Violet Hour! I seriously can’t get enough. Kalenel, you fill me with teh joyz.
Oh geez, you are really too freaking sweet. *^_^* I’m really really glad you like it—I kind of get the sense that people aren’t as in to this one, so I’m happy that you still like it. :D
Thane: GREAT JUST GREAT NOW I’M ALIVE AGAIN FORCED TO SPEND TIME WITH MY KID GODDAMNIT
Miranda: YEAH WELL I DIDN’T CONFESS TO LIKING YOU FOR YOU TO DIE TWO DAYS LATER Thane: WOMAN I SAID I WAS DYING WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT OH WAIT YOU’RE CARVING OUT MY ORGANS SO I’LL LOVE YOU AND MY DAMN KID FOREVER MAYBE A MAN WANTS TO JUST DIE IN PEACE
Miranda: WOULD THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY? REALLY? STAY ALIVE AND LOVE, YOU JERK Thane:THERE’D BE A CONSIDERABLE LESS AMOUNT OF BITCHING FROM ALL PARTIES CONCERNED
Miranda: GASP YOU DID NOT JUST YOU DID NOT Thane: OH WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO MAKE ME LIVE FOR 30 MORE YEARS Miranda: I COULD TRY TO TALK YOU KNOW, RUIN MY THROAT A LITTLE MORE IF THAT’D HELP Thane: OH MAN YOUR POOR THROAT WHAT’S IT LIKE TO HAVE AN ORGAN NOT WORK OH WAIT I KNOW
Happy Thane Tuesday, y’all! Although I ultimately fell for Garrus’s “smooth talking,” Thane was a real contender for my Shepard’s heart… until he had like a full grown kid. The drell is cool - super bad ass - but with a lot of baggage. SO he will just be my friend in my cannon playthrough, who I…
Awww hell yeah! I needed this after a spectacularly shitty Tuesday.
The wind rattled him like a leaf on a barren tree, ready to fall from the slightest breeze. Where was he? Rain pelted his scales, and in the distance he could make out the blurry image of a human. When he advanced, they disappeared in a puff of smoke. Suddenly, as if out of thin…
Fuck yeah, Wordsworth! :D Well written and CLASSY! ^_^
They all have interesting stories that can lend themselves to spin-off games (except Jacob, who, ironically, is the only one with a spin-off game), but I’d like to play something Tali-based. The rest seem like they’d be simple shooters (Thane and his assassinating, Garrus and his…
See, I’d love a Thane game, because I see it as an information gathering, shadowing, conversation overhearing extravaganza where you go to exotic locations, tail your targets, and figure out how to kill them in interesting ways, because sometimes it’s way more classy to poison a dude than shoot him in the head. I pretty much picture it as Assassin’s Creed but in motha fuckin’ SPACE.
Are you... the same 'kalanel' from Fanfiction.net that wrote 'For Such Loss Abundant Recompense'? Sorry if that seems uber creepy to ask, but it's the same name, and that's just about my most favorite piece of fanfic ever.
Ha, you’re so sweet! ^_^ Yes, I am! I’m glad you liked it! :D
Ok. So Mass Effect is one of my favourite things. Word is that in Mass Effect 3:
Project director Casey Hudson starts by saying that having 12 members in a squad was far too big. Instead, Mass Effect 3 will focus “on a smaller squad with deeper relationships and more interesting interplay”.
Which worries me. They also said every squadmate, if they survived, will ‘show up somewhere’. But if I can’t roll with Garrus, Liara, Mordin, Wrex, Thane and Tali I’m going shit glass right into the sleeping mouths of the Bioware devs responsible. Kaidan is confirmed as being a main squadmate (or space nazi, if you let her live for some reason), but he’s painfully dull.
I guess what I’m saying is that I’m already pissed it’s been delayed. And if it’s not spectacular AND if they deprive me of the joy of having my aforementioned homies - yes, fuckers, homies - as my squadmates, I’m going to cry. I’m going to cry boulders.
The message had come through on an encrypted channel—which was no big surprise; she’d been getting encrypted messages a lot more often as of late, though recent events were starting to give her a paranoid itch. Liara T’Soni was the Shadow Broker now, Shepard had taken care of that, and she…
